Meiereiwiese
One of the best spots to walk your dog is situated in Mödling. The Meiereiwiese is part of a large woodland area called Föhrenberge Nature Park. It's not just a great hike for you and your dog. When you are interested in old ruins this too is a hike for you.
Prater
Very close to the city centre is Prater. It is a large Park with lots to do for families, active people and dogs. There are several playgrounds for children, adults and dogs. In Spring and Summer lots of people bring blankets and have a picnic. Look for the signs "Hundeauslauf".
Prater Hauptallee
Close to the Prater Hauptallee there is a big open field where dogs can run and play with eachother. It is very popular the whole year round. It is a nice and safe place for your dog to meet new friends. Also the place to be when your dog needs to release some energy.
Angelibad
Another great plade to go with your dog is Dogpark Angelibad. It is a little further away from the city center. You will find that it is worth it to travel a bit to the old Danue because it is one of the few places where you can swim with your dog. Another perk is that you can buy snacks and beverages for yourself at a small kiosk onsite. They do not sell treats for dogs, but I have noticed that there is always someone who can not resist to treat any cute dogs.
